Mindy Staum is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been providing therapy to children, adolescents, adults and families for 10 years. She believes in starting where the client is at, and utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) as well as insight oriented therapy. Some of the issues Mindy works with include anxiety, depression, weight loss, infertility, relational issues, stress management, grief and loss issues, parenting struggles, and adjustment issues. Helping children and adults with stress and anxiety, which includes providing relaxation tools, is a particular specialty. Mindy is also a Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor.
Mindy received her graduate degree (MSW) at Rutgers and her undergraduate degree in psychology at Florida Atlantic University. Mindy has experience working in a variety of settings, the most recent being in private practice and in an intensive outpatient mental health program in New Jersey.
